How to prolong the life of your seat covers

Here’s how to make your canvas seat covers last longer.
1. Vacuum regularly
Vehicle seats are well used and definitely deserve TLC. Vacuuming your seats regularly will remove dirt, dust, debris and those pesky food crumbs from your cheese toastie you inhaled on your way to work, or on the long drive around this state and beyond.
2. Wipe with a cold damp cloth
In most cases, a cold damp cloth will do the job. A microfiber cloth works best, slightly wet the cloth with cold water and wipe down your car seat covers, you might need a little extra elbow grease for those stubborn coffee stains.
3. Wash your seat covers
If your seat covers need more than a wipe down you can use cold running water. Firstly, remove your seat covers to ensure the interior of your vehicle doesn’t get wet. Then, wash your canvas seat covers in cold water. Just simply use cold running water and lightly scrub any stubborn stains with a cloth. Avoid getting the underside of the seat cover wet!
4. Dry your seat covers
After washing your seat covers in cold water, allow the canvas car seat covers to dry. Pat dry with a towel and let them hang for a short period of time before placing them back in your car, truck, or earthmoving machine.
